Service Signup Sheets

Service projects are a large part of what our club is all about. For us to
complete our many projects, we need help from all of our members. At every
weekly meeting, we pass around signup sheets for our many projects. Members can
also use this page to volunteer their time to our mission of changing the world
one child and one community at a time.
This signup process uses a web based service to sign up members for the various
projects. When you click on a link on the left below, another browser window
will open to the selected project. Some projects just require a name, others
require different days and/or times be staffed. In the new browser window (the
site will be called "Doodle")place your name in the next
blank space on the left. You may need to scroll down some to find it. Then click if you plan to attend this event, or click
on the appropriate day and/or time you wish to help with the event. Then click
on the "Participate" button. That's it, you're signed up! You will
also be able to see other members that plan to help at this project. The table
created, will tally the number of members signed up for the event and for each
day or time slot. You will also see that on some sheets, the total will be x of
x. For these projects, we only need a certain number of volunteers for that day
or time slot. If the slot is full, you will not be able to select it. This will
also help you see where the most immediate need is to help you make your
selection. You can then close the new browser window and return to our site.
Thank you for helping our club help others!
Meals on
Wheels
February March April May
|
One or two members are needed to deliver meals to shut-ins every Friday
at 11:15am. Pick up meals at Villa Grace Assisted Living, located on
the south side of Good Samaritan Village. After finishing the Kiwanis
route, return the coolers to the west entrance of All Saints Chapel
located next to Villa Grace. |

Kids Against Hunger Facilitator
February March April |
Kids Against Hunger needs our help to facilitate
packing events. Facilitators help teach groups the packing process,
provide quality control, and act as the team coach for the event. Three facilitators for each event works
the best but additional friends are always welcome! |
 |
|
Blood Mobile Clean Up |
Kiwanis members help put away supplies at the
conclusion of the day's blood donor drive. Two member sign up to help.
Our club helps once a month with this project on Thursdays at 5:30 pm. |
 |
Greeter & Invocation
April May |
Every meeting, we ask two Kiwanians to greet the
membership as they gather for the meeting and one person to say an
invocation before the program starts. |
 |
| Pancake Day 2011 | Pancake
Day is our main fundraiser to fund all of our programs for the year.
Each member is asked to sell or buy 30 tickets and to donate some time
helping with the event. There are several things to do throughout the
day. Check the list to see what you would like to help with. Pancake
Day is a very fun event to be shared with all members! |

Committees |
This signup sheet can also be found on the "Committees" page, check it
out for a description of each committee. Kiwanis members are asked to
serve on at least one committee. This signup sheet will help members
choose a committee that fits their interests and skills that they wish
to serve on. |
